  Beta Alpha Psi

     CSULA Beta Lambda Chapter
     Beta Alpha Psi is a national honorary organization for accounting, finance, and information system students and professionals. Its main objective is to encourage and reward students and professionals who demonstrate excellence in the financial information fields. The CSULA chapter mainly concentrates on the needs of Accounting Students. It meets every Wednesday at 4:00pm during the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.   Toastmaster International
     CSULA Toastmaster Club

    Toastmasters is an international organization that helps its members to become better speakers and more confident leaders. Members learn by speaking to groups and working in a supportive environment. It is a great place to learn the essential speaking skills that are necessary to any successful professional.   Hispanic Business Society   
    Hispanic Business Society is a student organization with mission to improve the lives of Latino students. They provide a number of networking and other opportunities for involvement. It is a very committed organization that supports Hispanic students within CSULA business school. They meet every Tuesday at 3:15 during the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.   The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
    AICPA is a national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. It aims to improve the quality of CPA services for by providing necessary resources, information, and leadership for its CPA members. The student membership includes a comprehensive package with subscriptions to high-end journals such as Journal of Accountancy, ability to apply for scholarships, discounts on numerous publications, software, and open access to other helpful resources.

  The American Accounting Association (AAA)

    Founded in 1913, AAA is a voluntary organization that encourages and promotes excellence in education, research, and practice of the accounting profession. It supports accounting researchers, instructors, and practitioners. Student members are given access to one of the three journals published by AAA such as Accounting Horizons and The Accounting Review. Student members are also allowed to attend and participate in national, section, and regional meetings of the Association.

  California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA)

     California Society of Certified Public Accountants works to increase the value and promote the integrity of the CPA profession and reinforce client, employer, public and government trust in advise, work products and opinions of members of CalCPA. The society provides a range of opportunities for its student members. Along with research resources it offers many networking, leadership, and volunteer opportunities.

  The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA)

     IMA is an organization with a mission to enable management accountants and other financial professionals to successfully perform within their organizations. The society offers numerous learning and networking opportunities to its student members. It hosts a yearly Student Leadership Conference, gives out scholarships, and provides many more career and management resources.

  The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)

     The Institute of Internal Auditors is an international organization for experienced professionals as well as people who are new to the profession. Through programs such as IIA Research Foundation, it provides support for students and educators who are involved in the development of research reports, educational products, and academic programs related to the internal audit field.   The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE)

    ACFE is the world's premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. They offer discount membership fees and full access to resources for college students who are interested in the profession. Its student members can apply for scholarships, connect with CFE and other professionals, and access its career center along with a large number of other resources.

 Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)
     Information Systems Audit and Control Association is an international organization that provides information and guidance in the field of IT Governance to over 65,000 members that include IS auditors, consultants, IS security professionals, and others. Student members enjoy a wide variety of leadership, and networking opportunities, and have access to numerous resources such as bimonthly Information Systems Control Journal and IT Governance knowledge resource.

  The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

    ACCA is the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body with 296,000 students and 115,000 members in 170 countries. It offers a wide range of benefits to its student members that encompass assistance with the examination and strong career support.

  The Association of Government Accountants (AGA)

    AGA is a national organization aims to support government finance professionals in federal, state, and local governments. As one of the way it awards scholarships for individuals who are pursuing Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certificate.

  The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA)

    ASWA is a national organization committed to enabling women to achieve their full potential to the accounting and other related fields and to contributing to the development of their careers. It supports its undergraduate as well as graduate student members by awarding scholarships through its local and national chapters.

  The Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA)

     ALPFA is an organization dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latino professionals in the accounting, finance, and other related fields. Benefits of student membership include access to scholarship opportunities, skills development workshops, networking with key hiring professionals and sponsors, and discounts on various events hosted by ALPFA.

  The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA)

    NABA is committed to expanding the influence of minority professionals in the fields of accounting and finance. Its student members enjoy an overwhelming amount of opportunities that are comprised of Regional Student Conferences, Case Competitions, and National Scholarship Program. It also distinguishes the students who are making a difference by awarding a designation of a Distinguished Collegian.

  The National Asian American Society of Accountants (NAASA)  

    NAASA strives to increase the influence and presence of Asian accounting and other finance professionals in the respective fields. It is a fairly young organization that was established in 2005. It offers a number of events at the national and local levels. It supports its student members through locally established on-campus chapters.
