Beta Alpha Psi is a national

Its main objective is to encourage

chapter mainly concentrates on the
needs of Accounting Students. It

CSULA Toastmaster Club
Toastmasters is an international
organization that helps its members
to become better speakers and more
confident leaders. Members learn by
speaking to groups and working in a
supportive environment. It is a

Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
AICPA is a national, professional
organization for all Certified Public Accountants.
It aims to improve the quality of CPA services for
by providing necessary resources, information, and
leadership for its CPA members. The student
membership includes a comprehensive package with
subscriptions to high-end journals such as Journal
of Accountancy, ability to apply for scholarships,
discounts on numerous publications, software, and
open access to other helpful resources. |
The American Accounting
Association (AAA)
Founded in
1913, AAA is a voluntary organization that
encourages and promotes excellence in education,
research, and practice of the accounting profession.
It supports accounting researchers, instructors, and
practitioners. Student members are given access to
one of the three journals published by AAA such as
Accounting Horizons and The Accounting Review.
Student members are also allowed to attend and
participate in national, section, and regional
meetings of the Association. |
California Society of
Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA)
California Society of Certified Public Accountants
works to increase the value and promote the
integrity of the CPA profession and reinforce
client, employer, public and government trust in
advise, work products and opinions of members of
CalCPA. The society provides a range of
opportunities for its student members. Along with
research resources it offers many networking,
leadership, and volunteer opportunities. |

is an organization with a mission to enable

professionals to successfully perform within their

Internal Auditors (IIA)

Institute of Internal Auditors is an international
organization for experienced professionals as well
as people who are new to the profession. Through
programs such as IIA Research Foundation, it
provides support for students and educators who are
involved in the development of research reports,
