For the
On-Campus Interview Program (OCI),
Career Center organizes interviews
for full-time, salaried position
that require candidates to have
Bachelor degrees. Among other areas,
a considerable portion of the
participating organizations
interview for positions in
accounting. OCI is primary and, in
most instances, the only way to
obtain a full-time position with a
participating firm. In the past, the
following companies have taken part
in the OCI:
• Ernst & Young
• KPMG
• McGladrey & Pullen
• Moss Adams
• Rothstein Kaas
• Macias Gini & O’Connel
• Kaplan, Miller, Arase & Co.
• State Franchise Tax Board
• Defense Contract Audit Agency
Generally,
after the on-campus interviews,
companies choose to proceed with
some of the students to the second
and third-round in-house interviews
to ultimately determine the best
candidates.
The OCI is
usually hosted every Fall and Spring
quarter, with the larger and
mid-sized public firms participating
exclusively in Fall. To be eligible,
a student has to be within a year of
graduation date and needs to attend
a mandatory orientation session,
after which Career Center gives a
permission to register in the
EagleView system and sign up for the
interviews. The Career Center starts
holding the sessions at the end of
Spring and Winter quarters. You are
highly encouraged to attend the very
first session as some of the spots
are filled very quickly.
